As we all know, education plays an important role in social development and family education has a direct influence on children. Children are the future of the country .The family education between china and American are totally different .They all have disadvantages and advantages .By researchingthe differences of family education between china andAmerican ,we can combine their merits together to form a better way of education for our children.
2. 研究内容和预期目标
First in my thesis, I will givea brief introduction of family education .what is the importance of family education. Why many scholars do research on family education .what#8217;s the problem of china family education now and what#8217;s merits we can learn from others. What#8217;s the reason of the difference of family education between China and America?

Chinese researchers do lots of investment to analyse family education in order to find their merits, disadvantages. Some researchers believe that the reaqson of thedifference of family education between china and America is historical culture .Chinese people are considered conservative, moderate for long time Confucian education. Parents in china are autocratic. They will educate their kids to pass all the exams before them. They always judge their kids by grades which may damage their talents in other fields. In that case kids are controlled .Some people believe that the different family education between china and American is for our political system and economic development.
In American, researchers find that people prefer independence, freedom and success because they were educated from a very young age. Education in American is open and most people don#8217;t think going to college is the only way for a better future. Kids will get their parents support to choose their interesting subjects and career. They find that kids in that environment are open, active and more likely to success.

In November, I choose a topic.
In December, I write a report about how to write my thesis.
In January, I will read the articles that I collected before.
